It’s no secret that companion animals can play a big role in the health and well-being of their owners. In the last few decades, there has been mounting research that proves that companion animals can have a positive effect on emotional health, heart health, fitness and social/emotional enrichment.

He also tells us what the Shanti Project is doing to help owners keep their companion animals, even if they are struggling with a financial hardship.
